Ogwashi-Uku Association USA inc., was first conceived as a socio - cultural group for the welfare of Ogwashi-uku People in America on July first 2000 in Maryland.
On that day some of the sons and daughters of Adaigbo in America converged in College Park Maryland under the leadership of Ogwashi-uku Progressive Union and decided to form the Association known today as Ogwashi-uku Association USA, Incorporated
Ogwashi Ukwu is a prominent city in Delta State, Nigeria. It is located west of the state capital, Asaba and is the headquarters of Aniocha South Local government area. The population of Ogwashi-Ukwu is about 36,000.
