2012 Medical Mission to Ogwashi-uku
Ezi Afa Nu!! The Ogwashi-Ukwu Association USA in partnership with Africa Women’s Cancer Awareness Association USA (www.AWCAA.org) in December 2012 concluded a medical mission to Ogwashi-Ukwu in Delta State of Nigeria.
The mission was a resounding success thanks to the enormous contributions of the numerous volunteers (too many to name), the unparallel efforts of our indefatigable partners, the financial support of members of our great association in the USA and the cooperation of the Ogwashi-Ukwu community as a whole. A special thank you goes out to Mrs.Ify Nwabukwu, founder of AWCAA and the medical teams from the US and from parts around Nigeria and to His Royal Majesty, Professor Chukwuka Okonjo, the Obi of Ogwashi-Ukwu and his Council of Chiefs.
